Slysoft hacks Blu-ray's latest copy protection

(tgdaily) Antigua (West Indies) - Renowned DVD burning software maker Slysoft has announced that it cracked Blu-ray Disc protections to allow users to burn copies of BD movies on to blank media.

The breakthrough is Slysoft's cracking of the new protection technology known as BD+.  After installing the newest version of the company's AnyDVD HD software, users are able to pop in a Blu-ray movie to their computer drive and immediately wipe out the encrypted data that prevents the content from being copied.

halleberry.jpg LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- It's official, Halle Berry's baby daughter's name is: Nahla Ariela Aubry

The name is pronounced ["GNAW-lah ARE-ee-EL-uh"]

Halle spoke directly with Access Hollywood's Nancy O'Dell about choosing the name.

"We didn't have a name picked out until just before we left the hospital," Halle told Nancy.

"For us it was hard to name the most important person in our life until we met her."

The 41-year-old actress gave birth on Sunday morning at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, and is now at home with the Nahla, who was born at 7 pounds & 4 ounces.

Halle is “doing great,” her rep said Sunday.

The Fed's cut of three-quarters of a percentage point is less than investors were expecting, but markets rallied nonetheless

  (Business Week ) After weeks of surprisingly aggressive moves to arrest the credit crunch, the Federal Reserve on Mar. 18 surprised the markets in the opposite direction—cutting interest rates a bit less than anticipated. It cut the federal funds rate by three-quarters of a percentage point, to 2.25%, rather than the 1% cut that most traders had been expecting.
