The RNC has had a number of embarrassing moments recently including using the wrong picture to honor returning war vets; using a pic of Walter Reed High School instead of Walter Reed medical center.

Now comes word the video of soldiers at a funeral shown during the convention was actually stock footage and the "soldiers" were actors.

The effort appeared to use our fighting troops to say 'Vote Republican', some say.

CBS News discovered the footage was "stock" footage shot at a one-day film shoot in June. They also report no real soldiers were in the video.

Mr Big Films, the production company for the spot, says the video was shot according to the Republican National Committee's specifications.
